this may sound stupid, but how do you put a sports pod filter on instead of the airbox, without disturbing the electricals.i mean ive put heaps on othercars but they never had any plug ins that far down.also any geelong magna owners around.

pods and 1st gens would be a bad mix, go the k&n oval replacement filter

i thought i had seen one on here but it was really odd looking where the box usually is.havnt seen a round k,n filter for these injected cars.

Am developing performance mods for astron 2 bearing magnas (Current testbed is a TP SE).

u shouldnt use a pod filter on a first gen, cause it interferes with the air flow sensor because it doesnt tumble the air the way the standard one does. it will make your car run bad.
better off to use the stock air intake+snorkel but replace the standard paper element with the k&n equivilant, just order one from a good auto parts store. they'll be able to look up the part number and get it for u.
