Hello everyone,
This is my first time at this forum. At the current moment I have a TJ advance series 2 and I don't know which one would give a better power output and more kilowatts. please help as this would aid me.
P.S Money is no issue. :bowrofl:

Twin Turbo your car, supercharge mine.
Whatever turns out faster / more powerful... you keep! (i get the loser)
Win Win :)
PS Im betting on the TT for the win though.

there are so many pro's and cons for both.......personal pref...twin turbo

wow, money isn't an issue? lucky man.
peak output isn't the only issue. you could strap on a massive turbo which would give you a huge amount of boost and power in the higher rpm range, but down low you'll be gutless. the twin turbo wouldn't do that of course...
with the supercharger there is no turbo lag but generally can't reach as high outputs as a turbo. a twin turbo would practically have no turbo lag, and would generally be more powerful...

Twin turbo it up. From my understanding most disadvantages of a turbo vs a supercharger are negated by a TT system.
Plus it would be rather unique, a TT magna

There are already 2 twin turbo magnas that I know of :P

For hp go for a TT setup, hard to intercool a screw type supercharger so at the end of the day hp output is limited by charge air temperature.

Do a twin turbo kit ask them for the answers, but personally I would buy a Chaser.....but if money is no object buy a Mitsubishi Legnum twin turbo from Japan and whack it in....should fit alright.

single turbo cars seem to be better then twins...twins will give better driveability but single turbo can create bigger topend....big turbos wont lose that much low down power if you get the right one. Theres heaps of comparisons of modified turbo cars trying to figure out the differences goods/bads of each
id go supercharger just for the big sound :D

How about a cup of... lol ;)
Welcome to the forums, use the forum search feature you will find a tonne of info on both avenues and you can make more of an informed choice.
Don't forget one of our sponsors here are Sprintex who deal with superchargers so you might want to have a mosey on over there too... whatever you do when you say money is no object I hope you know the full ramifications of what you are saying lol
Try $7 - 8000 and onwards for any decent setup. lol

To make it easy you could get Sprintex to fit your car with one of their supercharger kits. They can do it in no time and they have a warranty. Mega driveablility and heaps of power. Sure it may not be as much power as going 'all out' with a twin turbo setup but it is something that can be done heaps quick and hassel free and very reliable.
Its worth a look into at least.

Guys theres a difference between "turbo lag" and "boost threshhold". boost threshold is the rpm at which you start producing meaningful boost. turbo lag for example is when you change gears at high RPM and have to wait for maximum boost to come online.

go unique
turbo charge your supercharger!

generally (but certainly not always!) supercharged = better driveability, turbo = more kw
If moneys no issue bail the Magna and go a Ferrari or something ludicris.

haha it would HAVE to be no option to do a rotor
unreliable but POWERFUL pos lol
but yeah... if cash is no problem... go buy an evo9 and start with a decent 4WD platform
unless you wanna buy front tyres every two weeks

yeah fair call
easy to get MASSIVE amounts of power out of, but really not good IMHO for a daily driver
much better to have a cheap n nasty daily then have the rotor for drag/ circuit racing...
but definatly a good way to go if you do it like that :D
(oh yeah.. if money is no problem... BUY MY RALLIART lol)

well top fuel drag cars have the choice between NOS, Turbo's Or Superchargers, Guess which produces the most? Superchargers and thats what they all use,
