Guys, I was just wondering what your opinion of the quality of workmanship of the aftermarket bodykits as compared to the Mitsubishi OEM parts - notibly I know most of the aftermarket are fibreglass whilst the OEMs are plastic - does this make any difference?

My opinions only:

Bunbury: kit looks awesome. You must see it in the flesh, the pictures do it absolutley no justice. Velocity's TT is one with it on. Look in Mysti's gallery under "Blue Mountains Cruise" from June/July (ish?) and have a look.

Brick (Carmate): I think the jury is still out on this one, has elements I do not like but it seems to work overall. Have only seen it in the flesh once at Final Battle last year - on Brick's wagon. With the right paint, I reckon it would be good.

SSV: Don't think much of it. Boring.

Talon GSR: Have this (some of it) on my car. Lost front splitter in collision with small hopping marsupial (broke in half). Rest of the car has hail damage, and the spoiler is had it too. I will be pulling this off when I get the bodywork fixed.

DreamTE's: Probably the best kit I have ever seen on a Magna. All custom, looks mad and I want one.

Jetspeed kit: See NSW spotted thread for a white abomination. Front's okay I suppose, the rear spoiler looks like Jasmine RICE!

I have been put onto a company that does ABS plastic kits, will see if they do Magna stuff and post a link. They do some awesome (different and inspiring) kits for common*****s

I was pretty much just looking to put on a VRX front spoiler - trying to be a little conservative, but will look into others!

I reckon the Bunbury kit looks awesome and will be looking more into this one and a few others in a few months to get the car ready for shows.
