I think ive boned a CV.

KS 96, 2nd gen.

Whats an average price?

Mine was about $140, non genuine. Are you sure it's broken?

well T man and i lowered the car yesterday. Did it ourselves so we may have just loosened something.

under accel in a straight line its quiet but when I let off the gas theres a knocking sound, gets worse when i turn... right i think.

CV joints are often the first things to go when you lower, a guy at my work has a Lexus dumped on 19s that's on it's 5th set of CVs... Maybe they've just given up the ghost with the new stress on them.

Have a look underneath, and if it doesn't look like this, then you're probably ok.

Be aware that CVs are sized for a specific ride height, so when you lower your car, the CVs are more than likely squashed against themselves.

$85 is what most go for.. Non genuine but!
Thats how much they cost me for all makes and model new or $55 recoed
