Maybe just pull it off and pull it apart, clean them out... I had a huntsman living in my aircon that'd poke it's head out at the worst of times... smoking rotors at 80k's...

I had that problem in my 2nd Magna. I tried to flush it out with a hose on a number of occasions. I didnt want to use a spray cause I thought it would leave jode all in behind my mirror. After a long time I think it ended up by dying and now it is one with the car - ha ha

My mates VP has a huntsman living in his car somewhere, every now and then it'll run accross the bonnet while he's driving, scares the absolute crap outer him :P. We cannot find him though no matter how hard we look (obviously not enough lol).

I hate this also.
I have to park my car next to a tree and every morning without fail, there is a big web inbetween the car and the tree. The rear view mirror is covered in web too.
I even parked it 3 meters away from the tree and it stil manages to make the web

One sunday morning after a big night out I strolled into my pulsar not realising that there was a huntsman staring at me (ON THE INSIDE OF THE WINDSHEILD!!)
I sh!t myself but carefully got out just incase it jumped or did something sudden.
Got rid of it with alot fly spray.
.........I've never been the same after that :doubt:

I had a Huntsman poke his head out and start wandering around the steering wheel ....I was in heavy traffic and nearly sh**. Wound down the window and out he climbed.I went to the car wash after calming down and just as I was finishing he poked his head out and I blew him out with the high pressure...then I killed him. Just in case he felt like climbing back on.
I hate f****** spiders.

Just get some Surface Spray - at night he'll come out to spin a web & die.
I had a huntsman in my air vents (ran across my dash and into the centre vent while I was half-way across the West Gate Bridge!!!)
Drove to the closest supermarket and sprayed nearly a whole can of flyspray into the vent system and placed the fan on high - flushed it out then used the flyspray can again (the more effective way) - hit the damn thing with it!
Damn you guys are like babies..... As long as it's not stuck inside of something and you can't get to it, the easiest thing to do is just pick it up and throw it out the window, even if it means you have to hold a piece of paper or something else out for it to sit on first.
