has anyone noticed any bumpy shifts, my car shifts perfectly when cold, but when warm all gears shift fine, except 2nd to 3rd shift slower and feels a little bumpy.

Has anyone experienced this?

sounds like the wrong, or bad, transmission fluid. guessing its too thin when hot, ie, why it shifts fine when cold and viscous.

the car only has 7000 k's on it, and i checked fluid it's pinky/red, Might try an ECU reset, dont think it will fix it though. Maybe i'll go ask Mitsubishi for a New Trans

I should do, but i can live with it though as it only does it from 2nd to 3rd at about 2000 revs, i'll see how it goes.

perhaps a larger auto trans cooler wouldnt go astray

No problems with mine either in normal or tippy mode.

Perfect, undetectable shifts and thats with 45000kms on it.

Fine appart from the jolt from the high idle revs when the car is cold switching from park/neutral to drive.

60000km on the clock.

I also have a tippy 5spd auto but dont have any bumpy shifts , but when my battery died and got replaced i did notice some funny shifts until the invecs learning system sorted how we wanted to drive it.Has yours had the ecu reset lately or your battery died????? :D
Got 70,000 on the clock. 2003 tj sports series 2

I am unhappy with mine changing from third to second. It really thumps in.

nah, driving home tonight it didnt do it at all.

I think the problem lies with the invecs, sometimes say if i'm at the front of the lights i sorta push abit harder to get away quick, thats when it thumps 2nd to third, But if i'm stuck behind some old granny and have to take of slow or slower it's fine, i think it can't make it's mind up in which mode it should be in

i think mine does the same thing - i've got 13500 on the clock (well just under) and will just wait for the 15k service to get them to adjust it
