bought mine for...380? or 330, catback from ebay and wouldve been able to fit it myself if theyd sent the right one...i think i got the wagon one and the mid section was too long, ended up gettin the pros to trim it and fit. Leigh up here had the same prob with the ebay guys

You can fit them urself fairly easily with a socket wrench, some wheel ramps (stands or whatever, dont just do it on a jack) and some time. then just take it to get a tip welded on or whatever.

and i would recommend it for sure...very nice tone, not cannon loud, ive got a little bit of drone at 2000 or so, but i kinda like it. its there, but not super loud

I paid $362 which included delivery from a guy on eBay called "online performance autos" or something.

Paid $350 to have it fitted at the same time as RPW extractors and a 2.5" hi flow cat. I'm happy with the sound of it so far - and it should get deeper with time. It's not a loud system - which I'm grateful for, but does drone a little between 2-3000rpm. Doesn't worry me however, as I like to listen to music when I drive

1. $340 with Midas about a year ago
2. Yes, even the drone at 2000 RPM. I like it even though many don't
3. Yes, it has been one of the biggest changes to the car. I know very few cannons that do Magna's justice... the Redback gives a sensible sound to a V6 IMO. I am happy with mine. I even believe it smoothed out the gears a bit more and possibly gave me some small gains in power.

Edit: Don't forget to do a forum search, there is heaps of info and there is also some in the link in my sig (3rd Gen FAQ)

My car: 1995 TS Magna Wagon - 3.0l V6 Manual
My exhaust: 2.5" catback with Redback Sports muffler.
Cost: Don't remember & have lost the receipt :doubt:
My Opinion: LOVE IT - Love the drone, love the growl, love the slight burble that I get sometimes.
Other's Opinions:
Tyre place commented that my car was the best sounding Magna they had heard.
Female work friend (who owns a 3G Manual Magna) said "Your exhaust sounds cool".

well i only got the muffler, fitted for $170 with chrome tip.
I love the sound, and it seems to have become even nicer with CAI. The 6G72 sounds a little better than the 6G74 IMO too. Not overly loud but nice and deep :)

TS magna v6.

i paid $400 for a catback from Mr Muffler. full madrelbent system, but all custom made in little pieces coz the bolt on sports redback didnt fit for some reason....thats uncluding my chrome tip.

sounds good but i had to put an 18'' resonator on it coz it was too loud for my liking....
sounds alot more tuned with it on tho!

Finally got my Redback system on today, sourced from EZBoy. Did me a great price - seriously, get a price from him.

$50 for my local shop to fit for me.

Sounds great, deep but not loud, getting looks from it already.

Not droney either... but I will see in a week or so once the gaskets get some heat into them.
