Hey guys ,

Heres what I know about the car.1993 3ltr V6 Auto its done about 227,000ks.I have had it in for a service about 1-1 1/2 months ago.Not sure of any servicing record.

I know this has been covered been and Ive run through all of them and done as they have suggested..As covered in previous threads about ECU's and idling problems and other stuff Ive got a clicking noise coming from under dash near the door..I went to D and T Mechanical and Diagnostics. So being a Diagnostics place he would have a better idea if it is the ECU then say just a Mechanic. But I have also asked on other forums about it.And I have various responses here are some.IAC motor might need replacing.Reset the ECU (as one of threads here suggested).Turn the idling up so it idles 1000-1100 RPM.I have also been told that V6 Magnas ECU's dont go as much as the 2.6ltr ecu's.Also the check engine light comes up everytime it stalls.

This is what I have done so far.
Turned the idling up to around 1100rpm.
Reset the ECU.

But still it continues to stall. So Ive got a couple of questions.

Do you think the ECU definately needs replacing?
Should I change the fuel pump?
Are there any other ideas I can do before changing the ECU?
Im pretty open to suggestions so if anyone has got any clue if it is way off can you add them here..

So if you can help please please please leave your suggestions. Thanks
