I highly doubt it.. My understanding is that traction control doesn't work until a wheel actually starts to slip, then power is diverted elsewhere... So providing you don't get wheelspin, no turning it off will do nothing.

What he said,but rather than 'power diverted' it actually uses a vacuum actuator to back off the butterfly in the throttle body a bit, just like you've lifted your foot off the accelerator a bit.
