why would you want this, your csr isnt a diamente so you dont need the badges

may as well put a ralliart badge on for a few extra killowatts as well

My TE one should be the same. MR907589 app $85. ppl may prefer this one as its cheaper than the chrome magna one by about $30. Isnt the purpose of 'doing a car up' is to make it different and unique????

swapping badges over isnt unique, holden owners have been doing this for years putting HSV badges on their cars thinking they now have some respect in the car world.

It is understandable man. I think being unique is cool to some extent as well. Though verda_97 also has a point. But in all respect as long as you are happy with it, its ok. I got my Chrome Magna garnish and was happy with that. I have notice so many other different boot ganish for the Magnas.

yeh i just think we would be the first people to bag out a non GTR skyline with a GTR badge and a stocko vs with a HSV badge yet we go ahead a put ralliart badges and diamente badges on when really our car is just a magna

just a bit of stuff to think on

Our cars as we all know are known as a diamante/sigma in other countries other than here, very much like the subaru liberty is called the legacy in every other country but australia and the 200SX was called a silvia around the world but wasnt here.

So its only a name, so each to there own.

but there isnt any performance difference between them.. its just an alias... i wouldnt say its anything like putting a gtr badge on a gts-t or a hsv badge on a stock commodore...

like jason said each to their own... but i wouldnt put it in the same rank as a tryhard hsv berlina :)

One thing for sure, if I put a 3.6L badge and a V6 on my car is way off the mark. But your point stands. If our car is not at all that, we shouldnt be changing inrelevant badges. This is what I call tasteful decoration. Respect!

Perhaps people do it to get the understanding that they have a CAR not a CSR and they like the name DIAMANTE not DIAMENTE????????

People do not put on Diamante badges for performance, they do it as they like the name and it is basically the same car.

Ralliart badges, well that is like the HSV on a commo exec

this is hilarious, all i ask is where i can find a garnish to put an international model name of my car on it instead of its domestic name...
note, the cars are identical in their specifications and features, it is not trying to make my car look like something that it is not as it was suggested with a ralliart badge on a magna...
why do people put chev badges on their monaro's? coz thats what they are in USA... it is not saying the car is any different...
i totally agree with what said about the GTR badges on a GTS and HSV badges on an exec commy... but when comparing an alias name for a car, i consider it more of an individual and unique modification...

Guess there are lot of different people in the AMC, and no way all opinions could be shared equally. I have a Ralliart badge on my magna, reason? to cover a small dent on my bootlid. I cant find any other badge that would look good in the area I placed. Anyway that boot garnish you got is really not easy to find on the roads. So by all means, to me is unique and cool in some ways. Like said, as long as you are happy, dont really bother what other people say. lol

I forgot the priced you paid for it? $49?
Thats cheaper than my Magna chrome one for $79.00.

Enjoy!

all jap in sandgate (brisbane) had a whole boot awhile ago i reckon if you ask for a garnish they will sell it to you ( a panel beater wont use it any way as its not teh proper name)
