View Full Version : Ks Verada Suspension
Have just bought 4 new monroe gt gas shocks for my ks verada, and am thinking of maybe getting some low springs as well. Just standard lows about 30mm. Would lowering a car to this extent really make a difference to handling ect and the look, or would I be better of just sticking in new shocks and not springs. Any help appreciated. Buzz.

Low springs would make a difference because they would probably be thicker and stiffer than standard springs.

If you are going to do things in stages, here is my recommendation:
- New dampers
- New springs, lowered, higher spring rate, fit new bumpstops (shortened type)
- Fit a rear swaybar
- Upgrade front swaybar
- Fit front strut tower brace
- Replace control arm bushes, rear trailing arm bushes with urethane type
- Fit camber adjustment kit onto the front.
Don't forget good tyres (low profile if you can afford new wheels), and also go upgrade your brake pads and/or discs.
