Im looking at getting a JVC KD-G416 & 2 6" 2 Way speakers from JB-HIFI for $228 its already over my budget  Im wondering how can i install the headunit I've read the guides on how to take it out and all that but im wondering can i get a wiring Harness to plug in from the verada plug into the new stereo (no idea what im talking about) and does the verada have speaker holes behind the map pockets or will i need to cut them myself? Any information would be great.
Thanks for any help

I went down to the blaupunkt sale and got some 4" fronts. put them in today to replace the stock fronts. Makes a huge difference! Some mod was needed to fit them in in terms of the plastic underneath, but thats the only prob i had.

Nice .. Next look at getting some 6.5inch for the Rears..
Stick with Blaupunkt if you can.. They offer great performance at a reasonable Price...
What headunit is this all going to be running off???
If you can look at getting the JVC KDG 615,, a Much better optioned deck and a great start to an awesome sounding system for the Money....

markrules_2003 - with my first headunit (still installed, Phillips/VDO with 6 stacker in boot), i found that it plugged straight in to the existing wiring in my TR. Best thing to do is open in up and test fit the unit. It's a bit of a pain at first coz the centre console has to come out (talk about well built lol). With the speakers, personally, i'd go the 4" indash replacement for budget. I didn't bother with speakers in the doors, coz i don't want to change the trims.(TR SE map holders grrr).
Magnat - i grabbed a 12" blaupunkt GTt1200 sub with a 2/1 300W Blaupunkt amp. New headunit goin in is the Bp Casablanca with sub out (Makes wiring heaps easy). Didn't want to go over the top with the system. All up this package cost me bout $450. Clearances are GREAT!!

4" speakers r bugger all so far as cost goes...easily less than $100. Maybe $100 for top of the line ones lol. get some cheap pioneer 2-ways for like $40

Yeh, thats all u need. 4" 2 ways should be fine and not too expensive. mine were about $40 and sound awsome. watch out for sizing (Depth wise), coz as i said earlier, u'll need to hack away at the plastic undernear the stock fronts. Check out ur nearest JB. They can usually do a good deal.

i got the JVC KDG515 headunit and some 4" pioneer 2 ways for $260 yesterday. I have dismanteled everything now i just need to put the headunit in. The wiring colours are all wierd that guide spackbace posted doesnt really help because all the colours from the stock headunit are different. I'll get it all in 2day.
I need to cut the holes in the plastic so the 4" fit in the dash because otherwise they wont fit.
Match wiring on Headunit to stock wires.
Refit everthing/ put my car back together.
