Has timing belt been changed for 2nd time? Otherwise just oil leak checks. I think 15w40 or 20w50 is standard stuff, I always use genuine mitsu 20w50 and its good stuff.

id go a GTX2 or even a penrite 15W-50 (could be a 15W-60 im not to sure)

Again Semi syn are the most recommended but fully synthetic oils are good too, if you are rich enough go for Mobile one. Mitsubishi dealers use Helix Plus for semi syn and Helix Ultra for full syn. Any other brand recommends semi syn oils mostly.
