first of all from what I have read there is not a lot of gains to had from getting a new exhaust, so i am looking at getting the car to just sound a little better (well louder as they sound good standard you just can't hear it) but just not too loud. would i be right in putting a different rear muffler on like a luky or something along thoues lines.

anyone with ralliart done this and have some idea what i should do, and the cost of doing it. im not really a fan of cannons not sure i like the look, some cars look good some like there cannon is bigger than the car itself.

i not a fan of cannons either really though i have one on my magna......

i dont think anyone can deny cannons sound very tuff on a magna has a real nice growl to it! u can get the cannon moutn dead striaght ans the body kit should cover most of it up and the cannon wont be noticable just the tip.

also u say theres no real gains to be had frm a exhaust sytem in the ralliart ... that mainly true but a set of pacemaker extractors will make a nice difference as the stock ralliart ones r nothing to be desired :)

thats kinda what i was thinking, but they cost a bit more, looking to get it sounding good then when i got a bit more money go for a set of extractors

Take a look at the new pacemakers i found on ebay for the same price as a exhaust http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4500615326&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Do Pacey's sit lower, causing ground clearance problems?

Typically this is only an issue on 3.0L models

I like a quiet exhaust with a quiet grunty undertone. Unfortunatly you can only back up the bark with a v8.

well worth it..

stonesour is correct in saying the ralliart ones arent the best

not the worste, but definatly an improvment over none at all

i got custom race tuned length ones, bigger torque... better note :D
