Decided to give my car a Christmas present before I leave WA for Holiday.
Some of you may have gotten these mats and would agree that they are really pretty good stuff! These are Premier Classic Tailored to Fit Auto Mat sets. For those who are using sports and etc...may not be that keen on these. But for those who wants comfort and luxury sedan feel, go for it! These can be located at Repco stores mainly.

When I first gotten my car I bought Signatured brand mats. about $49 for the set.
These Premier classic are double the price! But hey, when you see them you know why is worth it.

First up, there is a confusing ad on these mats as they say is Made in Europe to original specs. and the top right hand corner says Made in Australia  What were they thinking? we cant read?

Their Patented thingy on these mats is that they have a non slip thingy that locks down on the driver's side. IMO you dont need to do it as they fit perfect! The set is a 3 piece set that is one on the driver's, one passenger, and one long mat for the rear. Take note that these are tailored to fit TE-TL models. They come in GREY only, sad part. But Hey! Why are the pics I am showing is in Black? Because They were one of a kind prototype from the factory. They dont make them in black and these were like a mistake by the company and wasnt released to shops. However Since I wanted black they siad they would send them to me to the Repco store here in WA. Pretty good service as it came within a week.

The Mats come with customized Monograms showing Mitsubishi Magna logos on each mats.
Overall rating:

Comfort: 10/10 they really feel very comfortable compared to many I have tried.
Fitting: 10/10 They are really precise and fit 100% to 3rd gen magnas
Colour: 8.5/10 Why did they only come in grey? Where I am lucky to get black so I would rate mine 9/10
Quality 10/10 Thats because is the price you paid for
Price 7.5/10 It is expensive! But it is 2 year warrenty. Good stuff.

Enjoy the pics.

It cost $99.00 from Repco but they only come in GREY.
Ask them to call the company to see if they can make black ones, this should wake them up from just making grey ones. Postage is free to your local Repco store.

I am not selling mine! you got to ask my car lol. Its her present. :bowrofl:
Just doing this for a review to let you magna owners aware of this product as I felt it was really fantastic. Not a sale thread.

Hell ya, I was really considering this seriously! $100 bucks for mats! But when I heard the Repco sales told me that they had one set and it was a pure mistake that they were made in black, I took it. I must say I was very lucky, as stimulate was looking for dash mats I was looking around this section and just find this product interesting.

Any chances of the pics of your tailored ones? Otherwise will look one of these days when I finally come to the cruise lol.

Anyways, The feeling by just touching them by hand already gave me the impression that they are really high grade mats. Wait till you place them and feel them with bare feet! Its way comfortable. I say even the grey ones are just as good, only colour wise is the only problem.

yeah i looked at these types of mats at supercheap and the like.. the rear one-piece mat is an excellent idea, but as i have a ralliart with a black interior, grey was a no-no

$120 for genuine black ralliart magna mats from Mitsubishi Spare Parts.. very happy with them indeed!!

proper floor mats and window tinting are the first and most important things i do when i get a car..

My carpet is black so I don't want grey mats.
Guess I might check out the Mitsu ones, but I don't think I want "Ralliart" on them since I don't actually have a Ralliart.

you can get ones with either magna or i presume sports written/embroided on them.. i know you can get VRX so i reckon they would do the sports ones.. i reckon they will be $120 aswell because my ralliart mats, mums verada mats and my grandparents magna mats were all the same RRP..

but they fit well and look topps, i can get pics if anyone wants

Yes please post some pics as car mats hasnt been much talked about. So it be great that any pics can contribute. At least we know the Mitsubishi dealer's ones are available.

I will do some checks and let you guys know more about the Mitsubishi ones. I wont be bias towards what I have and the Mitsubishi one and give some of my thoughts about it. I figured that most luxury car mats cost even more than $100 especially for BMW, Audi etc...
and their quality is just as good and if not better.

the mats i got seem to be of a very high quality... drivers side has padded plastic heel bit to stop wear on the mat itself and has a lock down mechanism and both the front ones have the ralliart logo embroided on them.. would look better if it had the red and orange stripes though :doubt: other than that they are the best floor mats i've bought :D And they have a good foamy sort of texture stuck to the bottom so it stops them from sliding round, although they are an exact fit anyway, so they have no room to move..

I bought a set of these from repco for my lancer. The quality of the materials is good. The template they used was fuxored. The lockdown hole on the drivers side doesent match up. The rear piece is slightly to large and doesent sit properly. And to really piss me off, when i said i wasnt happy with it, they blamed my car. "your carpet is worn slightly". My response was its a car that gets used. "You have stereo wires running through the carpet" - no i dont. Just general bull****. Repco suck ballz when it comes to customer service, especially the armadale/kelmscott branch. I've stopped going there, as i get nothing but bad service fromt them.

Very informative since I am also in WA. Yes I do agree that the rear one are a bit larger but it did fit in to my car nicely. Lucky I guess. Maybe they wanted to "Play it Safe" to cater for TJ-TL magnas, I am not sure. Kind of disappointing when you hear people saying that the reason why it doesnt fit is your car. Thats a very lousy response IMO. Well I need to look at the Ralli Art ones, even though I got mine, its nice to know how other product feels and differ.

Yo guys,

One of the members Eddie has shown me this on Ebay.

Car Mats (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/MITSUBISHI-CUSTOM-MADE-CAR-MAT-SET-CARPET-Front-Rear_W0QQitemZ8001706404QQcategoryZ33697QQtcZphoto QQcmdZViewItem)

It appears to come in black according to that auction. But I think is better to ask the seller for those who are interested. I have never came across black ones in the shops.

Cheers!

awww they are the ones i thought i was going to get from mitsubishi with the coloured logo and the heel plate, turns out they were the el' cheapo ones.. :doubt: but meh, im happy with them, saves the carpet from all the **** on get on my shoes from work.. its terrible on car carpet (work in a bakery, water+flour+cheese+pineapple+bacon+garlic+tomato paste+what ever else ends up on the ground ends up on the bottom of your boots, although i have got into the habit of changing shoes when i leave work now that i have the ralliart.. this **** really stunk the lancer out)
