View Full Version : Removing Fuel Filter problem

Have disconnected the wiring to the tank and de-pressured it, and have also removed the top bolt on the filter, and I cannot for the life of me get the bottom one unscrewed.
Any advice??????????
There's not enough room to attach an extension to the spanner
Cars done 200,000k's on original so I really want to change it
If it matters TS 4 cylinder EFI

I just used a ringspanner when i done mine... or if you can get a set of gear wrench's mint... you just gotta persevere :(

vice grips works every time

Dismantled part of the air filter setup to give me more room, grabbed it with vice grips and after lots of teeth clenching she "cracked"
At first I thought i had broken a tooth :D
Will have a rest then change the filter :)
