hi,

my mums tj exec's trip computer appears to be stuck on 80klms till empty...filled it up half way one day and it didnt go up to around 280klms like it should have done it just stayed on 80...other features on tc are fine...oh and how do you use the speed alert? lol...

Try reseting the trip computer which involves holding the mode button down for about 3-4 seconds and it will beep and reset ,but i dont think it will change your distance to empty though worth a try.As for the speed alert you use the arrow up & down buttons to set the speed you want it to activate at and when that speed is reached it will beep and flash up your speed in your trip computer. :D

ooo ok then ill try tht...mayb the speed alarm broken too lol because the arrows didnt work i assumed they were it but didnt work...brb going to reset it...

ok, just reset it it now says 70klms lol...on half full...it'l have a shock when it hits 1/4 full lol.

as for speed alarm, the arrows do nothing it still says off...

but thanks anyway.

The speed alarm can be switched on and off which it sounds like yours is off but i think there is something wrong with your trip computer. :D

mate hold down all 3 buttons for a few seconds when u start the car

Press the up and down buttons together whilst in the speed alert should switch it on and off. :D

ok all three...i reset it just then with the mode one down for a few secs, but yeah think it'l b time to go to pick-a-part soon :D
