Have heard from very reliable source that mitsu has grounded the sales of 380 due to certain recall on all vehicles as of the 26/10/05 and also an extra safety recall on the 380. I cannot say what the recalls are but check the papers tomorrow. Very dissapointing for mitsu. Sales of the 380 will re-commence once the problem is rectified

yea I know, I am not baggin out the 380 by this thread. I thought I would give you guys the first news and not to hear it through the blow up from the press. I really feel for mitsu on this one. But as I said to dad. They really shouldnt make these silly little mistakes. They are digging their hole deeper. I really hope they can climb this hill

the TH/TJ recall was the fuel line rubbing on firewall material. If you have read the new article it will state that a locking connection can come loose, so this is a factory miss not something that will happen in time. Not good as it should have been picked up

oh dear... that is not going to send out a good impression at all! i can see the headlines now "Mitsubishi repeats old mistakes" or "380 not ready". I have to say that i want to see a more postive review after that damning wheels one...

Does that mean how many they have sold???

Target Number: 1746

Not to shabby for 10 days selling

Anyways whats it matter bout a recall, alot of models get recalled, Mitsu, Holden, Ford, Audi, BMW, I'm sure they have all had a go at it.

as for this recall, well firstly ill beleive it when i see it, and secondly the FPV typhoon was on sale for what, a week? before it was recalled? Yet it still sells well.. how many recalls have falcons and commodores had and how well do they sell??

I'd say that'd be the amount that was bult during that period - sold or not, they still need to get them all fixed ;)
I don't know how well sales are going, my local mitsubishi had sold 5 last time i checked. which was on friday.

In the First week of sale the 380 had been Sold 500 Times..
So this is a minor set back.. No Biggy, I mean It could have beeen something detrimental like Volvo's early Airbags that fired without warning..

It surprises me how many people on this website like to make mountains out of mole hills, "this is going to be the end of mitsu in australia".... PULL YOUR HEAD IN!

this is nothing!... all it shows is that Mitsu have good quality control procedures and are comitted to putting things right!
