I'm looking at doing something similar in the not to distant future - ie: leatherise the seats - but I also wanna upgrade the front seats to something I won't roll around in so much.

Oh dear, not enough cars from the early 70's. You don't double the mph to get kph. You just need to remember that 60mph is close enough to 100kph.

hahaha nah, not with those dials. Technically 1mph doesnt equal 2kmh. .. but the way the numbers line up on the dial cluster, you literally double the mph. Its because diamantes (what the glowing dials are based on) only go up to 200kmh where magnas go to 220 (or something like that). ..

But they are tops... and these dials also come with dimmer switches and fade to blue and green if you want (one member scored these sets) :P

one question mate, how did you fit the seats, i recently bought some bucket seats and i have them in (modifyed them to fit onto the stock rails) and now they sit to high, i feel like im driving the old landcrusier four wheel drive!!!

Seats i got from ebay.....

and no they're not my old ones reupholstered timbo! I think i actually prefer my old ones as these are slightly wider and dont hug me as tightly.....

I got my mech to weld these new ones in, and he used some hardcore steel brackets too (blew 3 drill bits and had to buy a diamond tipped one to drill holes into them) so yeah, they're nice and toite now!!

these are universal rails and are not mounted to the seats. you will have to fabricate some brackets or get someone to fabricate some brackets for them. i got my mech to make some up for me. but you should be able to do it urself if uv got the time and the equipment. materials should only cost $100 max
