Hey guys i have aproblem and i need help.

1) my 95 ts magna v6 auto is blowing a **** load of smoke in idle and when i take off.
2) i have two stuffed cv joints and every mechanic i see wants to charge an arm or a leg to fit new ones
3) is it better to get new brake discs or just machined

and you may be thinking i am a crap driver well all i can say my ex took the car for 2 months and this is how i got it back.

the smoke is worn valve seals, that isnt a major problem, unless you get really sick of the smoke. Depending on where u go it would cost roughly $250 - $350 to fix.

the CV joints should cost u about $170 max per side. Thats overcharging, but its the max u should pay.

Your brake discs, if you get them machined they might get too low, So it depends on what they need. Ask the mech if they can be machined or not.
