There is a lot of talk about fitting a cooler for auto tranny to make it run cooler and extend life.
I don't know if my v6 ts magna has had one fitted aftermarket, but there is a cooler. the piping goes from tranny thru rad to external cooler. Are some ppl in forums suggesting fitting a second cooler?
What do you guys have standard on your cars, is there a cooler? My wife's Pulsar does not have a cooler. Do 4 cyl Magna autos have a coller? What about 3rd gen.

4 cyl 2nd gens have auto tranny coolers too. The tranny cooler in the 4 cyl works 100% fine under insane operating conditions - I know by experience. And if the v6 tranny cooler is like the 4 cyl it should be perfectly fine. I think it is unnecessary to fit an aftermarket cooler unless you were towing cars for a living with your Magna.
Anybody, correct me if I'm wrong but in my experience you are perfectly fine - unless your cooler is falling to bits then it might be best to replace it :D
