Hey peeps,

Asylum has been helping me with wheel choices, as i like his style, but obviously dont want to copy him...

here are the two options (thanks for the chops will :D)

but im sure there would be very little in it. i would go the octains, they look like my volk racing rims.

correct, the wheels look grey in that chop

if anyone has seen photos of Asylums car, they are the exact same style, just different spoke formation

they will be in 19x8.5" with some super sticky tyres for the rally in three weeks :D

to be honest black rims with polished lip wont look good. go for a machined finish. buy hey wat do i know i am stuck with 16" KH verada rims :cry: :doubt:

That look is frickin hot on Asylums car but i think there would be other mags that would compliment your car more... But the first ones if your not gonna listen to me :P

Yeah and if you plan on getting 19's and doing hill runs then youre gonna be up for lots of tyres + cracked/buckled rims..

If i were you, id get show rims and race rims (17's) for your hill fun runs..

i agree the chops arent that great, both rims looked grey and couldn't really get it right (not bad for like 2 mins tho!

they made the decision for me...

19's cant get legal rubber...

8.5" wont fit

18x8 fits & is legal & safe :D

mine were $2900 but i paid 2400 cos they ****ed up haha

2300 is good price for lightweight rims :D

ahh ok.. Just seemed a bit cheap for good tyres + 18x8? or 8.5's

18" tyres around around $300 each + your rim.. And if they are lightweight rims then the rims should cost you around 300 - 400 each... So if the rims are say 350 a pop = $1400 it doesnt leave much for tyres..

Let us know the tyre you get and what you think of them when you get your car back.
