Hi All,

Just a quick few questions regarding alternator wiring.

Page 224 of the TN Magna gregories has the voltage regulator terminals on it. There is a "warning lamp" terminal, and a "sensing" terminal.

Obviously the warning lamp terminal goes to the warning lamp, but how? Is it a ground for the charge warning lamp, or an output for the lamp.

The sensing wire, do I just feed a positive battery feed into this? Or do i feed in the voltage from the point at which all my accessories run (I have the battery in the back, and a friend recommended I may need to do this)

If anyone can help me out that will be great!

Cheers,

Tim.

The wire which has a big bolt holding it on, use probably 8gauge and goto the postive battery terminal, the sensor and light wires arnt as important and can be wired up later once the car is running and driving (so you can drive it to a lecky :P )

Yeah we got the B+ hooked up, but I need to get the voltage higher, it's only getting up to about 13 when on, apparently the alternator does this because I don't have the other wires hooked up.. they're there for protection or something apparently..

Anyhoo..

Cheers for the reply, any other suggestions for the L and S points?

Tim.
