Hey everyone, i have recently got my hands on a rear sway bar for my TE magna.
Has anyone fitted one of these before ? is there really that much to it ?

i assume you mean an after market one...
yep, i did it, and it was a good move...
i found HEAPS of benifits to upgrading both sway bars... good move
dont know how to install it... cars to low to look under :P
cost me SFA to have the mechanic do it on the hoist...
much better :D ass sits still cornering now :D

It's a fairly easy fitment, but you really really need a drive-on hoist to do it on, as the wheels need to be at normal ride height when you tighten the bolts, or the bar will become pre-loaded and become much less effective. It isn't more than around 45mins labor at the most.
The front swaybar takes longer as you need to remove crossmembers etc to get to all the mounting bolts, so probably an hour.

ok thanks, i'v got a mate who's a mechanic and can get me some time on the hoist, so it should be happening soon !
since im quite novice, and will be fitting it up with him, i'll write post on here how we fitted it for anyone else who is interested
