Ok of course I know its bad.
My oil is fine, my trans fluid is fine, my radiator water is foamy.
Now when i think about foamy, I generaly think good things, Bubblebath, slipandslide, and a foulmouthed internet cartoon squirrel.NOT IN MY RADIATOR!!!
Its not bubbly like blown head gasket, with big oily bubbles, its fine bubbles, they smell like peroxide.
water temp stays normal, fuel consumption seems up but im not 100% on that, however on cold start the car feels like its going to stall when i start to drive, then the power kicks in.
Help guys, please tell me this is something small and insignificant.

Check the spark plugs and see what condition they are in
If they are Black , tends to mean over rich mixture on fuel..
but foamy water does not sound too good to me, Possible air leak in one of the Hoses or Water pump ???
As for the engine warning light, is it always on or only sometimes??

That indicator means a sensor has picked up an error somewhere, could be oxygen sensor, throttle position sensor etc. Mitsu should be able to check the ECU for fault codes for free. So that's what I would do. And sounds like you could do with a cooling system flush.

the wire had fallen off the mas. im supprised it didnt just cut out...
as for the coolant, yeah the car needs an oil change so im gonna book it in and get my wrench to do that, a coolant flush, deglaze my pads and check the suspension work i did.

what if the light comes on for a few seconds at startup?

what if the light comes on for a few seconds at startup?
Then your car is perfectly normal.
As stated above check engine light will come on if a sensor isn't working properly, so thats why it came on if your plug was d/ced, not reading = bad sensor to the ecu.
As for foamy coolant, what brand coolant are you using? could be cheap stuff that has bubbled and overheated.

due to the above am i able to assume you had a looksie re pod boxes?? :P
ps as a precaution, i wait for the "check engine" light to go off before starting, i let it idle for 10 or so seconds, when my tappets settle down

if the plug fell of the sensor it would have logged a temporary code in the ECU causing engine light to come on, get mitsu to clear it
