A few days ago my TR started leaking oil from the ?front? of the engine (end with all the belts, passenger side). Its somehow dripping on the variuous belts and spraying everywhere. Everytime I open the bonnet, there is more oil over the place. Last night I cleaned it with some degreaser and a pressure cleaner. I went for a quick drive to the shops (five minutes) came back and there was oil all over the front of the engine. Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

It could be leaking from anywhere, how are we suppose to know?

But I once had an oil leak, it was coming from the crank shaft seal, it was dripping oil onto the belts and it was spewing everywhere.

No Way?! lol. Yeah I was just looking for ideas on any common places where a leak could start. One of my friends said it could be a front seal. I bloody well hope not! That would mean taking out the whole bloody engine wouldn't it?

Take a Photo of your engine Bay .. Close ups we may be able to determine from there..

there is a few options top to bottom

Cam Seal
Rocker Cover Gasket
Head Gasket
Crank Seal
Sump/Crank case Gasket

Try nip up the sump gasket gently.

Other than that, go buy yourself the two 7 dollar seals from a bearing shop and replace them.

Try cleaning it up again and let her idle for a bit and watch it to see it you can spot the source.
If it doesnt show up, drive it for 100 meters or so and check it, Repeat till you see where its coming from.
Hopefully then you can give us a better idea :)

If it's leaking so much oil, check the oil level and make sure it's not too low now and that it's not doing any further damage. Could be any of numberous seals but might be serious if its leaking at a rate like that.
