G'day all,
Im pretty new to car audio and Im setting up a cheapish system. I want to run these splits:
http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=CS2329&CATID=&keywords=splits&SPECIAL=&form=KEYWORD&ProdCodeOnly=&Keyword1=&Keyword2=&pageNumber=&priceMin=&priceMax=&SUBCATID=
And this sub:
Pioneer sub TS-W304C, 600w max 12inch.
I only want to run one amp and would like to know what sort of amps i should be looking at powerwise. Entry level amps only as Im on a budget :bowrofl:

On a tight budget I'd probrably look at the Jaycar Response amps. The 4x100 would probrably do the job nicely.

The one d0p3y recommend is the same one in the ebay auction.
Dont worry about ebay but, just go to your nearest jaycar store and ask for their 4 chan response amp.

Not when you take postage into account..
I would still prefer to go into Jaycar, pay a little more and Get Warranty..

Their were some problems with the first batch of the new respone range of amps, they needed to be returned.
They guys on ebay prob sell these, and if you get stuck with one... bad luck.
On ebay its selling for 220, after postage and insurance on postage it will be costing you 250. From jaycar you can but it for 299.

Don't be such a tightass. **** eBay. Walk into Jaycar for the sake of a few dollars and ensure you're getting what you pay for, with a warranty that will be honoured.

There's really nothing else at that price point.... I paid $300 from ebay for my Audiobahn 4x75WRMS......
There are a few good 4/3/2 channel amps around, most specifically have extra grunt on channels 3/4, so you get more power through your sub. Usually have LPFs AND HPFs on these channels too. Channels 1/2 usually only have HPFs.
There is a schnieder 4 ch amp at one of my locals, will have a look at it, get details and cost. Might be good for you.
