Hairdryer and some teatree oil mate.

Heat the stripe up and slowly peel it off.. Dont leave the hairdryer in the one spot though as you can wreck your paint.

Once its off go over it all with teatree oil (leave it on for a minute or 2 to soften up the gooey crap) then clean if off with a clean rag or terrie toweling.

Right ... just did the passengers side with the hairdryer (I'm not gay borrowed from a friend)hahh. boy that was a real pain. 1 hr to do a panel now letting the WD40 soak in to remove the goey crap. Many thanks fer the suggestions tho need to find a easier way to do this as its taking too much time. Anyone in QLD know a good panel beater as I got 2 dings and wanna get em out too. Preferably around St lucia area or indooroopilly would be nice. Yea my new '98 baby V6 kicks serious ass(better then my crappy 4 cyl TR) !! How may I ask do I know what model TF/TE ? is it ? all i can see is a 3L V6 Auto Magna alteria (dunno but i got power windows and mirrors).

Pop the bonet and check the Engine number and it should say TE or TF, I may be wrong but I saw mine as TE.

cut and polish ???

if that doesnt help theres nothing you can do.

the darker stripes are actually your car colour, its just that the rest of your paint has faded.
