G'day people

I own a 97 Verada XI(KF) and i crashed the rear on a log yesterday. :rant:
ONly cracked the plastic but was wondering if i could replace it with a 97 magna bumper??
I wanna do this because i want the magna look on the back when i buy a body kit for it later.
If anybody knows anywhere in Perth who could do this for me id appreciate it
Or else i was thinking buying the bumper from a wrecker or from http://www.ozeparts.com.au/ and getting sombody to paint it and fit it for me , but i need to know if the damn thing will fit(also from which magna modle). :confused:

i honestly cant see there being any problems as the metal of the car is the same, it would basically just be the bumper plastic thats different. you'd need the magna's brackets etc but thats it

well i tried Via email and i had no response i left them my number and all my deetails and still nuthing ima w8 till i save up sum cash though and im gunna call em n see wat can be done but im dissapointed in the fact that they tell you to email them but they don't reply back

The Verada rear bumper has a much larger impact beam and shock absorbing mounts which are larger then the ones on Magnas. You probably could put a Magna rear bar on a Verada but you would have to change all the mounts to suit. Same with the front bumper.

Has anybody done this before? is there any welding involoved to change the mounts/brackets for a magna rear bumper or could i do it myself athome? also if u could help me out with what parts i might need from the wreckers such as magna mounts etc
