Im changing the oil im my 4 speed SA.
Can some one please tell me how much Ill need to do a full refil?
Also does anyone know if you can but a different type of oil into the box to make it proform better....
I use the SA all the time and hardly use straight austo... So I dont know if that will cause the box to heat up more thatn normal..
I also kain the car a fair bit so I dont know if this will effect what oil I should be using for hard driving.

Thanks
Haydn

Do a search of the oil companies web sites and you will find they produce a SP3 oil.Mitsubishi has to get it from someone.

Castrol TQM-ST is made specifically for mitsubishi auto-transmission. i'm pretty sure it has the same formula as mitsubishi sp3/4 transmission oil. i use it in my car now and doesn't seem to have any problem.

Yep castrol TQM-ST can be used. Any other oils will damage the g/box as they can cause the o'rings to swell/shrink(can't remember which one) causing clutch slippage, poor shift timing, etc etc. It's a full synthetic oil.

Here's a handy link for checking what oil is suitable in your vehicles.
