Hey all

i put a greddy emanage in my car

when the greddy is plugged in the engine light seems to always be on but very dim and when it seems to get brighter (only slightly) with the revs, the car drives alright tho

has anyone experienced this problem or would know of what it might be (obviously wiring problem)

just thought id ask before i take the harness apart and test it

Dave

No ideas at all - but my car has been sitting in a workshop which is allegedly the "GReddy experts" in Brisbane since Wednesday for a emanage install and tune........... If I'm lucky it might be ready monday afternoon.

If they can't work it out - it can't be straightforward, but I'm sure someone will post saying otherwise.

From what I understand - and I didn't wan't to bother them too much, they are having issues wiring it in, and there are jumpers inside the actual unit which need to be configured for Magnas as well.

So have you got it sorted out yet Dave?? Did you have a magna specific 'wiring diagram' to help you wire it in? I've since been doing some research (search button rulezzz) and found that some members have had access to these......... I'd probably have my car back by now if I had a copy of one of these

ive put one in a 3rd gen before and there was nothing needed to change inside the unit.

dunno what your driving, but i just wired it in, put it on a trailer, dyno, tune.. all sweet.

there is only like 6 wires to hook up, its a little more involved if your setting it up to do ignition as well, but that still only adds another 4 wires =P

good luck with it!

I've got ignition and injection harness going in aswell.......... don't know stuff all about wiring anything into anything in cars (hence I'm paying someone to do it) - but there were a ****load of wires came with the unit (main harness + the other two...). I drive a TJ - but from the limited knowledge I've managed to gather in recent weeks - all 3rd gens should be the same in terms of wiring.
