I really want to change over my cluster to a white background with red lit writting. I've searched though AMC, and TJII's seem to have led's rather than globes that can't be changed (easily anyway). Is there anywhere to get the overlay? Emtech only have ones for TJ series I's, and don't have red writting. Is the only way to buy another whole cluster? Also, having the digital odometer, I suppose it would have to be set by Mitsubishi.

Sounds like it is going to be expensive...

Another thing for the long list of mods when my warranty expires next year!

The TJ2 Sports/VRX cluster has leds for the gear selection on the tippys but the rest of the dash is just globes.

Cheers. Is the red colour just from the overlay, or is it a red bulb as well. Any ideas?

Pretty sure its just an overlay - a few guys here have tried covers for the little bulb at the back of the dash - or using ceramic paint to change colours - I think there might even be a pdf of the sports/vrx instrument cluster on here somewhere from memory
