ok #1 almost everytime especially when car is cold (usually mornings), after putting the car into D and get moving, after a about 3m of movement theres like a low grinding noise coming somewhere beneath from the front of the car. it last maybe less the half a second. but it happens everytime!! and at exact location... i might be weird but i actually measured it out. when front wheels touch 3 metre mark from stop position it happens. is this normal or ?? any ideas
problem #2 when braking from high speeds to a stop 80kmh - 100kmh (NOT too heavily) when it kindda gets below 20kmh theres like a weird front noisee when braking... i doubt brakes are metal to metal cause it got serviced few weeks ago and this was the first time i had this issue... clues??

every 4speed auto TL i have driven does this, including mine. Its just a weird thing TL's do for some reason, according to a couple of different people i have talked to, including mitsubishi, the sound is normal and isnt a problem
18 months on from buying it i dont even notice it anymore.. combination of it not being as noticeable as it use to be plus me being use to ignoring it

my ralliart does it, mums KJ Verada did it, uncles TL ES does it.. i thought there was something wrong, but because they all do it i never thought any more of it.. like RJL25 i dont notice it much any more.. occasionally ill hear it.. but if it went any longer (as it only happens for 1/2 a second) id be concerned

is that what it is!
Yep - My TL does it. (The funny noise thingo after 3m)
As for the brakes, I spoke to my workshop abut this, they said quite normal with the stocko brake pads mitsu put in. That was the green light for me to wear those puppies down ASAP.
Replaced rotors and pads and sometimes when i brake, i have a squeek and also when i do right hand tunrs at round-a-bouts (or right hand turns)... bloody annoying.

my TH sports (with ABS) does it too....
sounds feasable for it to be something to do with the ABSas it only ever does it after startup and only ever once..somewhat disconcerting
*hijack thread*
anyone know if ferodo formula pads r good/bad/otherwise experiences?
specifically with DBA slotted rotors
