Came back from picking up my car, and got quoted 2 things for the Garnish.
1. Garnish Assy-RR- Pane (MI-AW343124) $83.11
2. Garnish-Rear Panel L (MI-MR900206) $99.59

So, Which do I bloody need?? Do I need both or just Number 1???

This is what I bought for my TF for a chrome boot garnish (as the altera I thought would have had the same as that is what I asked for), as i documented in the 3rd Gen FAQ (in my sig)

No dude just the garnish! Its a trap lol. Absolutely no other part needed.

Bought mine for $79.00 after discount. Lucky me they are friendly people and know what they are doing.

Im going to a mitsu wreakers on Thursday and Ill try to get one from them, if I cant ill get one from mitsu.

I went to the bloody wreckers who deals with Magnas and they quoted and challenged me with Verada lol. And I told them 'No Magna' and they say it doesnt exist. I laugh when they had a Magna just came in for some repairs and had it on!!!! and pointed out to them.

BTW the only ones left are in NSW, the supply is over there which I was told.

Apparently mine came from SA but that was a long time ago now... anyway, they must still have stock around, and probably produce them still from time to time in small production runs.

i got mine from vodka guy.. he had a prang and ripped his off.. claimed it on insurance :D :D

chrome magna thing as pictured in other post. Which WAS featured on every ALTERA ever made. I havn't seen one without it, although i think on the newer ones it wasnt on them:s not too sure. But in my year yeah go 96 :badgrin: lol

I kind of like the laser edged printed one also, its kind of neat and nice.
Then you have the colour coded ones.
