ok, so i got my clear indicators, i'm fairly confident with the front ones, should be able to just unscrew everything, change the luigh assembly and i'm away? But what i'm a little more worried about are the side indicators, i did a quick search but couldn't find much, so i was wondering if someone could give me some tips on how to remove my current side indicators and put my new ones in. i assume the new ones should just pop into place? but i'm worried abotu damaging my painwork removing my current ones :|

Don't they just pop out???

Grab a thin, flat bladed screwdriver, wrap it in some cloth, work it behind the lip, pop it out....

Yup, pop out...

Best to use something plastic. 1 minute job. If you're desperate, you could probably use your average kitchen spatula...

you must have *** strong fingers...
i've tried with some old boxers as my fabric and some nail sissors to get in behind the indicator, but still haveing some troubles... i might go try the spatula!

Take a look around for any traces of glue.. I know sometimes they get a little loose and fall out so people will throw some kind of adhesive on them to keep them there..

Might wanna hit them with some solvent if thats the case..

Ok, after alot of agression, the new indicators are in! and my old ones are a bit scratched, haha! Anyway, i'm glad that part is over, but now, of closer inspection to my front indicators, it looks harder than once thought.. do i have to take out my head light assembly to get to my indicators? or do i go in from the back? they look so tucked away :doubt:

Ok i managed to figure out the front to, for all who are interested, you have to unlack the spring behind it, and then just pull the light out.. who'd of thunk?

So, my lights are now done! Pics should be coming tommorow, along with my lowering and stereo pics :D

For anyone else doing the same, if you can get your hands on some 380 indicators then they are made with the same tooling kit as the Magna ones, just clear rather than orange. Straight swap. Cos the ones from ozeparts are like $50...

']whered you get yours from man?

Shop in the city in WA sells these for $35.00, looks more like those on ebay for $45.00
Edit: No it doesnt look like those on ebay but will do for me.These look flashier, more sporty.

I am planning to hunt for a few of these in other countries and sell them here cheap provided if I can find them at low prices. Going to Singapore in a weeks time, will see if I can hunt for these similar side indicators.

Know somebody that works at Mitsu Lonsdale plant where, they make the 380's, tends to come across bits and pieces that would normally be thrown away from time to time...
