Hello all,
was having a looksie yesterday at the driveshafts etc set up. Then i noticed that the diff was actually incorporated into the gearbox. Now i was wondering along the lines of how do you install an lsd into this mofo.

So what i want to know how does this set up actually work, and how does one go about installing lsd.

Thanks for any help; aj :D

you have to take the gearbox off the engine. then realse the diff from the gearbox housing.

Yeah - it's pretty special hey....... as you've said; the dif and transmission are incorporated (I think the correct term for is 'transaxle' but don't quote me). At first I wondered why the prices I'd heard for getting an LSD fitted were so high...... now I know.

I'm interested in knowing the specs re dif gears in the 5spd manual compared to the auto's if anyone knows - and is it possible to change dif gears in an auto. [/thread hijack]

I've never hear'd of one for a V6 2nd Gen. Good luck in finding one. Cause those 4cyl turbos are bound to have one?
