Now i've done a search and looked at all the links i can find, but i've fallen short.
Here's the situation:
I'm hunting for the specifications for the kicker comp vr sub (12", 2 voice coil, 2 OHM). I need to find what the best enclosure for these subs, I have an orix??? box purchased through jb's. I want to build my own install (again) and i'm searching for info on the best litreage / cubic feet required for the subs, i have two of the subs off a kx600.1 amp.
Now i'm predomidatly into rock/metal but listen to all music, so i really need a good all round setup but leaning towards the clearer punchy bass, not the overall boominess. Now i wanna know the best style of box (ported or sealed) for the music but i don't want to restrict the subs.
Now i could just recreate the origional box i have and face the subs to the back (i have a false floor made up and it fits the subs facing forward, but not facing the rear) hence having the subs on the vertical surface not the slope.
Any help is greatly appreciated
