Do you mean air compressor as in air conditioning compressor? They're rather expensive to get new, and reco units are almost as pricey, you'd be better off going to a pick and payless and pulling one off a TR. Because TR compressors are filled with CFC 12, you'll need to have it repressurised with R134 gas, which is about $80 from a decent air con place, plus it'll need new valves, mine were about $50 each I think.

Welcome aboard Tich, nice to see another more seasoned member.
I'd agree with veradabeast if your talkin about the air conditioning.
what city are you in. :D
many thanks for the replys, yes it is the air compressor that has aproblem, trouble is ,as with most repairs when you mention to any repair outfit they think of a price and double it,one guy didnt even take aproper look and wanted to put a new one in ,cost $1100.Its not that i can not do with-out it ,its just i like to have any think thats fitted working. As i live on the sunshine coast i go to Brisbane to get any work and parts needed,(far to costly up here)and i have family in Brisbane so theres no cost involved for me to being there.
Talking to some guy in ipswich, mobil repairs, who says it could just be the top seals, common, he says with the magna tr and ts, so i might just go down soon and see about that, there again i thought that some one out there may have had the same problems.
This forum is great, ive been though just about every question and answers and found it very imformative, and hope that i can help some one who has a problem(some which i have over come with out the cost of a so called repair experts) regards steve

There's one on ebay at the moment. Just search for "magna".
