Hey, Sry... me again
Just wondering... When purchasing a pod filter for a magna... what else would you need...
The stock filter connects to the front right panel right behind the battery box...

The pod filter wont connect directly onto the stock system will it... From what it looks like i need all the electronic bits rite before the actual filter... so would i need a special joint to connect them together?... if so... how much would this cost and where would i be able to get one...

And will I notice an effect on performance with a POD filter instead of the stock system... (ive heard contradicting opinions)

This is for a 1995 TS Magna

You need to buy an adapter thats a plate with 4 holes in it and a 3" (or whatever) bit of tubing coming out of it, unbolt your air box and bolt the pod up, you will notice that your car will be slower cause its drawing hot air from the engine, the best thing to go is isolate the pod (built a 'pod box') and get a big pipe and connect this to the front of the pod box so what your really making is a bigger and better version of the stock system. either that or go to an exhaust shop, get them to mandrel bend you piping so you can chuck the MAS and pod down behind the front bar on the pipe and extend your wiring, much like the 'TH Smoker' and RPW's TH Smoker cold air kit. i think thats YET to be done on a 2nd gen, i shall be doing it though, approx price would be on the $300 mark for stainless (mild steel would just look the poo)
