Hey, the cat back exhaust that Redback have, does that go over the rear cross member like the factory piping or does it skirt underneath. I think people are generally happey with them, is that right? Do they drone or are they loud?

Follows an identical path to the factory one...... which has some pretty nasty bends, but I was assured by the exhaust place that fitted it that the bends didn't matter cause it was all mendrel.

Piping has a large round resonator after the cat and a bulbous piece of piping abit further down which must have something to do with sound deadening.

I fitted the redback muffler by itself (cause it was easy to do) and then a few weeks later when my extractors arrived, I got the rest replaced. Apart from a bit of a burble at idle (from the extractors I'll wager) it didn't seem to make it any louder (drone or volume wise) - so I reckon if you already have a 'straight thru' muffler of some description fitted, the redback piping won't make much difference sound wise....... based on my experience anyway.

Okay, ta. I'm keen to reduce the number of bends though.
