just found my aircon belt has snapped. It looks like it could be replaced easily. But im not sure.
Anyone done this themselves with little hassle? Im not sure if i can get the belt through the tight squeeze down the side of the car.
thanks

If you are with RACV it will cost you $23 to have them come out and replace it for you (the belt costs $23... Think it is a PK1000)

Ahh.. well in case anyone ever searches this up and wants to do this.. I did it myself..
the belt cost $13 at autobarn
it was a bit of a pain getting the velt around the pulleys, its a tight fit in there. But is possible with some forcee.
I had to remove the alternator, mainly to get some room for my hands to get in the tight spaces.

This can be done easilly when working with the curve of the packaged belt, I have never had to remove the alt to do this.
It is fiddly but with a few done you will have no problems

Is there not a cover plate that you access thru the wheel arch?
Remove this and it gives you the space to pass the belt over the big bolt, that restricts you.
