[list:8c0aa52688][*:8c0aa52688] Am I getting a good buy?
[*:8c0aa52688] Are the features good or not?
[*:8c0aa52688] Anyone has this already or buying it in the near future?
[*:8c0aa52688] Does anyone have a Kenwood stereo? Are they good? Do they skip a lot on bumpy roads?[/list:u:8c0aa52688]

I’m also getting the disc changer below and in the future (when I get more funds) I will have a new set of speakers & amp.

for 1400 your paying alot for a head unit but it sure is one killer unit. You'll definatly been bouncing along with your tunes. I don't think stackers are worth thier money, i mean really its not to hard to change a CD

Spend the extra money in some speakers.

With the 5 volt triple pre-outs hooking it to amps then speakers from the amps will be much easier / clearer / better!!

1400 bucks is a little steep but i reckon it is worth it for sure - if u are planning on going and getting a full setup with amps and subs and all that sorta stuff (as we all intend to do one day i am sure)

I'm just lazy.... can't be bothered to change CD and most likely I'll have Eminem in the stacker and leave it there... 8)

This model looks like the one two models after mine, which is the Z919 it was the top of the line Kenwood Head Unit maybe 18months ago. It also listed at $1399 and had full motorised face and MP3, remote, 3 preouts etc. Its a good headunit IMO has lots of features you'd never use and has never skipped for me.
I bought it because I love MP3 and this unit was one of few that had MP3 and a GOOD remote. good becuase it actually had all digits on it and if you wanted track 179 you didn't have to press forward 179 times or hold the forward button and blindly hope to get near that track.
Maybe it has changed by now, but on my model the MP3 track text display only allows you to have 8digits, in which you will struggle to describe the artist/title of most songs.
I still reckon its a good unit and Kenwood make good stuff.
:o

man that looks like a sick head unit!

Heaps of features should keep you busy for at least a few hourse :P

Its pretty expensive for a HU but I guess it's the top of the range so...

Its pretty nice.

Id look at Pioneer though.

my DEH5550MP does just about all that for a mere $529.
Click me for specs! (http://www.car.pioneeraus.com.au/catalogue/product_cd_tuners/deh-p5550mp/product_deh_p5550mp.html)

If you were to look at the higher range Pioneer im sure youd find theyd do all what the Kenwood do at probably half the price..

To each their own though.

I really love the OEL Display, my last deck had it and it was unreal. Passangers go mental over it. Like DSLO3L allways says, its all about attention...
