So in what way exactly has it been modified?? Looks like larger 'chamber' welded ot the stock runners...... anything else special about it? What about the T/B?

Did you get it customised specially for your car - or is there a company that modifies them in the U.S?

I've got something similar made by RPW over here and noticed a decent improvement in low-mid range torque.

looks like a larger inlet pipe before throttle body, HKS and Greddy do like a plenum chamber thing just after the filter but before the throttle body also.

Possibly. Could be the photo or that it appears to be darker which would do that. I'm just wondering if it's the original plenum.

it's the original plenum just the intake is modded. several companies make this 3000gt intake in the u.s. i just cut about 3" form the center of the intake pipe and about .25" where it meets the throttle body. it's a 3" pipe and cast to match the maf sensor. both my wife and i have noticed a decent improvement.

Yeah, its only modded in the sense that the 6g72 has the TB on the left and the 6g74 is on the right so the pipe is flipped upside down. but these 3kgt intakes certainly make a vast improvement over stock.

I know there are changes for diamantes in their exhaust for california but you also have a different throttle linkage (cable from accelerator) I wonder what else is differerent?

I know our brake boost controller sits nicely infront of the pedal assembly so its nigh on impossible to convert to a 5spd without some MAJOR modification.

Oh and our steering wheel is on the right side of the car lol
