hi there all, i just bought a tn efi wagon for $50. it needs a bit of work and the main prob being the timing chain needs replacing( rattles like a bag of bearings in the engine). does anyone have info on how to replace it. pics would help alot and any advice or input would be helpful.cheers

Noswet, I'll scan the relevant pages out of my TP manual and email em to ya on yahoo when I get a sec. Thats if you want em.

Price around for the chain kit and compare it to these guys on ebay. They also have a kit for removing the chains altogether. I just bought 1 of the chain kits tonight so I should get that in about a week, I'll tell you what it was like when it gets here if your interested.

another quick question. do u know if the hanging panels (eg. hood, doors, tailgate, gaurds)
from tm tn tp are interchageable. its just this station wagon needs hood, doors and tailgate and was wondering if tp or tm panels will fit also. seeing as im in north queensland i dont have a lot of wreckers who keep magna parts, it will make it easyer if all the panels from all the other models fit

To answer his question. All body and trim panels are interchangeable and intrachangeable, between the generations, with the exception of post C-pillar, between Sedan and wagon, obviously, and TM/N and TP nosecones.
