this is a pretty off the wall question and i thought i'd ask you guys be4 i tried CAA

can you load down amps with resistors??? ie parallel a single 4ohm vc sub with a resistor to get 2 ohm???

i haven't tried it, and i know your gonna say just buy the right vc config in the first place, but i was just wondering if it was possible.

No you wont get the results ur after.

If you could load it down just with a 4 ohm resistor then the amp would be pumping half the output through this resistor. Which would not only get very hot, but also prove very innefficient.

What VC subs (how many)

and what amp? how many channels, what is it stable at etc?
