About 4 months after i bought my TR 4 pot, complete with 185\75 r14, i decided i needed bigger rims, so i put a set of 225/55 r16 tyres, and 16x6.5 steel falcon rims. after i did this the car became very suseptible to the camber in the road, then when i recently fitted 235/45 r17 tyres and 17x7.5" alloys, it became less of a problem, any ideas why? i had an alignment and that was fine.

You fitted 225 width tyres onto a 6.5" rim, the rubber are too wide for those rims.
