All that's needed now is the oil pump, driveshafts, the block and pistons (currently getting done), engine harness (in progress), steering rack, suspension, and the reassembly.
With luck, it'll be on the road before Christmas! :D

If you call Rob directly he will probably give you a discount....thats what i did and i got the gasket kit for $45, and a full set of nolothane bushes front and rear...but they were a special price too,
so yeah call him and see what price he can come up with on a multiple purchase, and maybe aask him about the MAd MAx fans in japan.....:)

I agree, give him a call. :stoopid:
Yeah. He is indeed a nice guy. I'm also getting the replacement engine mounts at the same time.
The parking brake was refurbished over the last couple of days. It's nice to be able to jack up a car without it threatening to flatten you before you can put the jackstands under it.
The engine harness has been sourced. It's from a TP, and I'm reassembling the interior again on Sunday.

good progress :)
what are you doing to it?
Officially? EFI and electronics upgrade. Unofficially, it's the 300,000 obligatory rebuild.
Photos aren't any good at the moment, as the thing's that filthy it's not funny.

ahh good!!
nice to see your car coming along too!
Yeah. It's only been 12 months since the original motor blew, 9 since the second motor blew, and 2 since the steering went.
