Firstly, welcome.

Secondly, anything that large will be illegal or uninsurable. They came with 6 inch wide and you're only usually allowed 1 inch wider.

Thirdly, no idea on the rest of the answer :D

yeh i figured but if i keep the car pretty much stock (as in less bodykit) on the outside and just have some nice wheels .. the 5.0 cant really tell how wide the wheel is ?? specially with the big rear end bumper that the verada offers .. i cant even see my stock muffler if i was behind my verada sitting in another car .. hehe :)

right now my car sits 3in all around and i feel that im missing something ... wheels!! eheh

tru i get ur drift ..

though how much is comp insurance for a 25yr old and drives a verada Xi cost nowadays?

cheers!

Well, it's not so much the fuzz but if you're in an accident and your wheels or tyres are deemed at fault and the inspector see's that you've got non conforming wheels or tyres then you can kiss your insurance good-bye and your a$$ if there's a fatality.

Three inches short of the guards? That doesn't right. I'd guess full comp might be around the 500 - 600 mark. Try NRMA as they're generally the cheapest. Depends on the value of your ICE or other stuff against the insured value of the car.

also i got a qoute for extractors ..livo exhaust (syd) chargin me $800 just for the RPW extractors all the way to the CAT only .. does that sound right ??

what am i expect to pay for extractors and rest of piping without a loud a$$ muffler?

Wider rear wheels with wider rear tyres are not a smart thing to put on a front wheel drive car.
Very bad handling (too much understeer).

Well RPW retails their race extractors at $660 so is that price installed?
