View Full Version : Whats the best/cheapest way to remove spolier
I am sick of this spoiler on my car despite some people like it i have to let it go. So anyone who has removed a spoiler how do you go about doing it. I just got quoted 495 for a talon spoiler, thats to much if you ask me and 495 to remove current one if the holes are not in the same spot. So i want to just completely remove the current one and go for the classic no spoiler look. Heres a pic of the current spoiler. Note it is plastic and is cracked and shakes whilst driving i think its cheap looking.
Alternatively if i could get it removed for a small price id be interested if anyone knows someone.

wat some ppl have done is they jus un bolt it and clean up all the sticky stuff with teetree oil and use black plugs to fill the gap. then when u have enogh cash take it to a spray painter and get it filled up and sprayed. PM EGO or mister jerk. they have done it so ask them
a better idea..
Source a bootlid without a spoiler in the same colour as yours. Cost you no more than $150 to buy one from a wrecker.

Do they come in Black on a TE, mines been resprayed so if i could get the same colour ****ing A id do that. Plus my boot currently isn't the best it falls down if you dont hold it.

I'd say your boot falling down if you don't hold it is because of the weight of the spoiler on it. And the tensions probably haven't been readjusted.
If you speak to Mitsa_jerk or Arcane they have taken spoilers off, when they came out of the factory stock, and now when you open the boot it springs up. lol

swap with someone who wants a spoiler :D
yer as they have said, either just do a swap with another boot lid, or just get it bogged up
if yur not worried about having small ugly things just get a plug in them, so then if u do want another spoiler u can put it in again later
The quickest way would be the carwash, probably. :bowrofl:

the easyest way to take it off is to tie a rope around it and then around a tree and drive off but it would cost more in the long run :D
