I would like to know what size these speaker holes are so I can get speakers that will fit right in with no drama's it's the rear window parcel shelf.

TuffTR those look like the factory 6x9's that the 2nd gens came with, my car had a set....they're so pox. :bowrofl:

well they've been there for an odd 11 years or so...and they havent missed a beat!

Judging by the length of those tec screws that are holding them in... I would say aftermarket... no way mitsubishi would sell its car with a couple of inches of screw hanging out... they are far too cheap to use anything that requires excess!!

Um, The're TS-A series Pioneer speakers. Completely aftermarket. Ford has Pioneer speakers in them stock IIRC.
